But from the 20th century, this trend started to change with the advent of software such as Auto-CAD. Even though this technology has made the work of engineers easier, the challenge was that software could only be used by those who are well versed with it. Keeping those challenges in mind Softnotions came up with a new solution where people can draw architecture plans without knowing the software; thus developed Modular Building Designer Application.
This software is self-explanatory and can be handled by any person without having prior knowledge. This software is fundamentally used to create drawings for newly constructed modular buildings or the renovation of existing buildings. The drawings created using this software can be used as a document that specifies all necessary information and requirements such as:
Full view of construction including all dimensions
Elevation view and the sectional view from all sides
The sectional view of each wall
Material details of each part, such as Materials of window and door can be of steel, plastic, wood, iron, etc. roof can be of asbestos, wood, concrete materials (cement), etc

A more accurate understanding can be obtained by all parties involved in building a building: Architects, Landscape Architects, Construction Companies, Construction Personnel, etc. Since the application was very complex, domain knowledge was essential for the development process. Business entities was lacking domain knowledge in this area. The technology expertise needed for developing the application was also difficult. Keen understanding of the solution architecture and technology awareness was essential. The quality of the application has to be pinpointed. Since it is a web application, it should only take fewer resources. The code has to be rigorous and error-free. It should be scalable. The application has to be compatible with any device or device in any part of the world.

The user can create new drawings by adding various elements such as doors, windows, guard rails, etc. When the drawing is complete it can be saved to ‘My Models’ or as a ‘Template’ for future references. The user will be able to convert a draft to a quote by submitting the necessary details, and also the user will be able to print the drawing in PDF format.The other major feature of this application is that the user can select different views for draft building such as plan view, track view, floor view, roof view, elevation view, 3D view, and schedule view. The users will be able to report issues found by submitting their description, summary, and photo. The administrator will be able to view all the issues reported at the backend interface. The users can generate reports of draft drawings either in CSV or Excel files.
