The objective was to develop Lion of Judah Nektr Legendary Leaf an NFT-based gaming platform that uses blockchain technology to offer gamers a rewarding gaming experience. Once developed Nektr is the first crypto project that aims to support cannabis activism and reform across the globe with its cannabis NFT growing game. The game intends to create an engaging game with a play-to-earn model where players can earn real-world value from their gaming activities and assets.
Business Challenges
The key challenge was to integrate blockchain technology and NFTs into the game without affecting the user experience or performance. Traditional gamers are skeptical about adopting blockchain technology in a gaming scenario, NFT trading, and cryptocurrencies. The other challenge is strictly adhering to the regulations to steer clear of legal or compliance issues. Security measures have to be top-notch to protect the platform from fraud and hacks as this could affect the credibility. Ensuring the platform’s scalability to handle a large number of players or transactions was also important.
Solutions Proposed
The solution we proposed was successful in streamlining the user journey in a gamified application with effortless package selection, payment processing, task completion, and NFT reward distribution. On logging in users choose one of three packages: Greenie Grower, Diamond Lungs, or Kush King/Queen. After this, the users are directed to the Payment Modes page. On this page, the users choose between Promo Code and In-App Purchase for payment. Once the payment is completed users are redirected to the Choose Strain page which then leads them to the Daily Task Payment page. The task completion screen is displayed for 24 hours. Users repeat the payment and task completion steps until all days for the selected package are covered (6 days for Kush King/Queen or Diamond Lungs, 10 days for Greenie Grower). Once the tasks are completed users are directed to the steps for NFT reward distribution. The chosen NFT reward is then transferred to their wallet.
